Isabel Bryna also known by the artistic name Isabel Mariposa Galactica is an artist based in kauai Hawaii. She has studied art , taught, and shown her work throughout Europe, the United States and Latin America, always returning to where she considers home, the island of kauai. Her paintings are rich and vivid in both color and life.

 

Many people consider her work to be healing and therapeutic. Often being described as portals into the realms of the Divine. Her paintings are powerful and provoke feelings of interconnection with nature, inspiration, and love.

 

Isabel tends to work on large scales as she loves to paint Big. Many of her original pieces measure up to six foot by six foot. Her work is inspired much by plants, and flowers and the medicine they hold, the sea, rivers, and rain, mountains , stars, Sun and Moon, volcanos, the realms of the mystic, mythology, folklore, and her own inner world.
